Lenovo has decided to start selling the ZUK Edge without officially announcing it in advance. Instead it will be available to buy on Chinese online merchant Jingdong starting tomorrow.
Honor's flagship smartphone enters a new round and remains true to its principles: high-end features for a mid-range price. The Honor 9 offers many improvements in the detail, such as a faster SoC, more storage, an improved dual camera with hybrid zoom, and a stronger battery. We were able to get a first impression of the smartphone during its launch in Berlin.
TENAA reveals that the Honor 10 will come with a 5.84-inch LCD screen capable of displaying 2280 x 1080 pixels, and rumors claim that there's an upper notch, as well. The rear camera setup comprises a 16 P + 24 MP combo with “semantic image segmentation mode.” The phone is powered by the Kirin 970 SoC and there will be 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage versions.
An Honor representative on Huawei's official forums has confirmed the list of Honor devices that will run on the Oreo-based EMUI 8.0, with the Honor 8 and V8 surprise inclusions, and the Honor 6X apparently set to miss out.
As Huawei kicks off the rollout of EMUI 10.1 to its current and last-gen flagships, its Honor sub-brand isn't forgotten. The update comes in the form of Magic UI 3.1 and is now slowly becoming available on Honor flagships like the Honor 20 Pro and Honor V20.
Vivo has launched the X30 series, its first pair of smartphones to come with dual-mode 5G as standard. Its unveiling has confirmed a slew of rumors and leaks, including that the Pro variant has quad rear cameras containing a 64MP sensor, a 50mm portrait lens and a periscope lens. The X30s can now be pre-ordered in China.
The OEM wants to clear stock of two of its more popular smartphones to make room for upcoming releases before the start of the Holiday season. While the $180 Honor 7X isn't much of a deal, the $430 View10 makes for a nice pick given its high-end specs.
With the X30 5G, Honor has introduced a new mid-range smartphone with plenty going for it. The Honor X30 5G has a 6.8-inch, 120 Hz and 1080p display, a 4,800 mAh battery and a 48 MP triple camera. 66 W fast charging is on board too, and all for a comparatively low price.
Honor has now announced that it will launch the X30 later in December 2021. Prior to that, it is now listed on JD.com ahead of its first retail event. This page reveals that it has a similar design to that of the OEM's current flagship phone, although it will may have a new mid-range 5G chipset instead.
