The Slim Pro 7 is a versatile multimedia solution with H-series CPUs and GeForce RTX graphics. The latest model is one of the first to ship with the Ryzen 7 7735HS, but performance is slower than the older Intel Core i7-12700H especially in single-threaded workloads.

Asus claims its PC builder business (mainly the motherboard sales) has suffered due to Intel's 14 nm CPU shortages. Overall profits have seen a 39% year-over-year decline and the next few quarters will continue to hit Asus's profits, as the shortages are expected to last until Q2 2019. The gaming PC and server businesses are unaffected by these problems, however.
HP seems to have accidentally revealed all the specs for Intel's Whiskey Lake-U family of mobile CPUs, as the information was taken down soon after. Nevertheless, it is now known that there will be three models - the Core i3-8145U, Core i5-8265U and Core i7-8565U, HP also revealing core count, frequencies and cache memory configurations.
Since the 3700X and 3800X 8-core CPUs are already available, the launch of the 3750X for retail channels might not happen at all. The specs would have to be too similar to the 3800X and a price point between US$330 and US$400 would not really be that justified. AMD may consider launching the 3750X model for OEMs, however.
Loongson is the company behind the development of the "Loong Arch" instruction set - China's first domestic CPU instruction set. According to third-party IP evaluators, Loong Arch is completely original and does not conflict with other foreign IPs. It is still compatible with other mainstream architectures like x86, RISC-V and MIPS.
